Bright Autumn Colors

When you think of fall colors, you most likely think of deep, muted reds, oranges, and yellows.  Our bride and groom wanted bright fall colors, along with blue, for their October wedding.  We think the result looked great.

Marshall bridal bouquet #1 (1 of 1)

The bridal bouquet was filled with blue hydrangea and thistle, orange roses and alstromeria lilies, yellow solidaster, green hypericum berries, and a mix of ruscus and tree fern greeneries.

Marshall bridesmaid bouquet #2 (1 of 1)

The bride asked for more orange in the maid of honor bouquet to make it stand out from the bridesmaid bouquets.

Marshall bridesmaid bouquet #3 (1 of 1)

The bridesmaid bouquets were primarily blue.  The addition of buplereum brightens the look and the wood accents add texture.

Marshall boutonnieres (1 of 1)

Boutonnieres were created with orange roses, green hypericum berries, tree fern, and tied with blue ribbons.

Marshall corsage (1 of 1)

Corsages echoed the look of the boutonnieres but also pulled in elements from the bouquets.

Marshall altar arrangement (1 of 1)

The altar arrangement pulled all of the bright, warm tones together.  Hydrangea, roses, lilies, thistle, solidaster, salal, and ruscus  overflowed from our large copper vessel.

I can’t decide if I favor muted autumn colors or these bright shades.  What do you prefer?
